Parents of Diverse Learners Meet Up

Date: November 28th

Time: 6:30pm (school staff will be present during the first hour only)

Location: Gideon Welles (4500 N. Lincoln Ave.)

Topics:  Who’s Who on Ravenswood’s Related Services Team (social worker, case manager, nurse, etc), General FAQ about specialized services at Ravenswood, Time for networking and resource sharing among families.

This group acts as a support network for parents of students with IEPs or 504s or with other diverse learning needs, so that we can support each other and know we're supported by our school. Meetings will help explain the ins and outs of "special education" and will be a place for families to find resources and ideas. But there’s no requirement to have a student with an IEP or 504 - everyone is welcome!
