Please note: While Ravenswood is considered a fine and performing arts magnet cluster school, that designation refers only to our arts-oriented curriculum. This status does not factor into our admissions process. As a CPS neighborhood school, we admit neighborhood families first for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. If space permits, we admit other students via the GoCPS lottery process. Preschool policies differ - please visit our preschool admissions page for more details.
Also worth noting: We are a free public school. Aside from our annual student fee and school supplies, all classes, meals, schoolbooks and other materials are free to all students. We offer support and discounts to families who need help with school fees or buying school supplies. Please contact us for more details. There are fees associated with preschool. Please visit the CPS early learning site to learn more.
