RAMpage Dodgeball Tournament

Buy your team tickets here today

Every winter, we pit teams of 10 players (5 male, 5 female) against one another in an adrenaline-fueled mélée of epic proportions — and unbelievable fun. You don’t need to be particularly skilled or athletically inclined to take part. The double-elimination tournament means each team will play at least two games. And if your team keeps winning, you’ll play even more.

Parents, friends, neighbors and community members are all invited to come play.

The registration fee is $300 per team. The memories are priceless!

And for those who don’t want to play, we invite you to come cheer for, or laugh at, your favorite teams, and join us for our after party!

Reality Fair

7th and 8th grade students will participate in the annual Reality Fair. This is a fantastic activity in which our students are given a heavy dose of “reality.” Armed with a fictional job and a paycheck, students try to meet their monthly financial obligations –- without going bankrupt. They’ll find out who their spouse is (big-dollar airline pilot or stay-at-home parent?) and how many children they have, and then they’ll set about making financial choices and paying their bills. Some will even suffer the “fickle fingers of fate” to make the experience more realistic.

GoCPS applications due!

Do you have a current Ravenswood student and do you live out of our attendance boundary? Do you plan to enroll another child at Ravenswood next year?

Ravenswood can accept students who live outside the attendance area through Gocps.edu. Applications are due on December 14th for the 2019-2020 school year. https://go.cps.edu/elementary-school

Due to the unknown number of incoming neighborhood students, all lottery students are waitlisted in two categories: sibling lottery and general lottery. Priority is given to siblings for acceptance to Ravenswood for out of boundary students. Parents will receive notification of sibling lottery or general lottery waitlist numbers in the spring of 2019.

If you already have a child enrolled at Ravenswood this school year and you are applying for another out of boundary child, please be sure to mark down sibling preference for Ravenswood School when submitting your CPS lottery application to receive a higher priority.

In-Boundary Registrations for 2019-2020 school year will take place in the spring. In-Boundary students are guaranteed a spot in their grade level.
